This action aims to enhance and strengthen the CIBER Consortium by incorporating new groups into the scientific programmes currently developed by CIBER.
Cancer thematic area: dos grupos.
2.1. Establishment and characterisation of patient-derived preclinical models in breast and/or gynaecological cancer for the study of molecular mechanisms of resistance to targeted therapies with high clinical impact, such as ER, CDK4/6, PARP and/or HER2 inhibitors. Development of new diagnostic strategies for therapeutic response and execution of clinical studies for biomarker validation in breast and/or gynaecological tumours.
2.2. Study of the epigenome and chromatin dynamics in cancer through the integrated use of omics and computational techniques, combining the study of experimental models and patient samples.
